1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a session or using the website of Light With Purpose Photography ("Photographer"), you ("Client") agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms constitute a binding agreement between the Photographer and the Client.

2. Booking, Payments, and Cancellations

Payment: No upfront retainer is required to secure a booking. However, full payment for the services is due at the time of the photography session.

Cancellations & Rescheduling: Because no retainer is held, we kindly request that if the Client needs to cancel or reschedule, they provide at least 48 hours' notice out of respect for the Photographer's time and schedule.

Weather: If an outdoor session cannot occur due to inclement weather, the Photographer will work with the Client to reschedule at no additional cost.

3. Copyright and Usage Rights

Copyright Ownership: Light With Purpose Photography retains full copyright, ownership, and all reproduction rights to all images created during the session, in perpetuity.

Client License (Personal Use): Upon final payment and delivery, the Client is granted a limited, non-exclusive, personal use license. The Client may print the images for personal use and share them on personal social media accounts.

Restrictions: The Client may not sell the images, submit them to contests, or use them for commercial gain without written permission. The Client may not alter, edit, crop, or apply third-party filters (including Instagram/social media filters) to the final delivered images.

4. Model Release

The Client grants Light With Purpose Photography the irrevocable right and permission to use, publish, and distribute the photographs for advertising, portfolio building, marketing, website promotion, and social media, without any additional compensation. (If the Client requires full privacy, this must be discussed and agreed upon in writing prior to booking).

5. Delivery and Archiving

Turnaround Time: We strive to be timely with all galleries; however, final edited images delivered via a private online gallery can take up to 2 weeks from the session date.

Artistic Discretion: The Photographer edits images consistent with their artistic style and portfolio. RAW, unedited files will not be provided under any circumstances.

Archiving: The online gallery will remain active for 30 days after delivery. The Client is solely responsible for downloading and backing up their images during this time. The Photographer is not liable for storing files indefinitely once the gallery expires.

6. Limitation of Liability

While every reasonable effort will be made to produce and deliver outstanding photographs, the Photographer's liability for any loss, damage, or failure to deliver images (including but not limited to acts of God, illness, equipment failure, or memory card corruption) shall be limited to the refund of any money paid by the Client for the session.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
